Addictive!
Starts out sort of harsh but soon evolves into an aroma (to my nose) of rose, spicy carnation, saffron, oud, myrrh, cardamom, ambergris and white musk. The drydown hours later is a freshing blend of bright, white musk and ambergris with a trace of cardamom.

I started out unsure about Shaikhah, then began to like it, then began to love it--to the point I've ordered a box of 6. Some describe the opening notes as "harsh" or "burning tires" "old motor oil", and it can smell very much like that. But given the chance to settle down and warm on your skin, Shaikhah brings forth lovely fragrant notes as though pulling them forth one at a time from a bag of gifts. I detect rose, myrrh, orris, spice, musk, amber, and notes my Western nose is unfamiliar with. Shaikhah is addicting.

The refined grown-up scent
As for it, a high-class feeling is very a scent of the existing wood. It can be relaxed very much. I am using it as aroma oil.
