This book covers some of the leading ladies of this ummah who have made a difference in the lives of others.

Mention is made of the believing women on earlier generations from mother Hauwa to wife of Zachariah 'alayhi wassalam, wives and daughters of the prophet sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam , the sahabiyaat (women companions), the taabi'aat (women successors), muhaddithaat (narrators of the traditions), 'allimaat and 'arifat (scholars and mystics), and pious women of recent generations.
